It's difficult for the Australian squad to set fresh records.

The top summits have long been mastered.

We're talking about the squad that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, plus another six T20 titles, and once went over three years unbeaten in 50-over cricket.

The secondary achievements, the ones sought by the peak baggers, are the only things left for a side that has accomplished all there is.

It needed as late as Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to complete their first ODI chase above 300, regaining their record for the largest in the female 50-over format, is, frankly, a testament to the bowlers that have represented Australia over five decades.

It is hard for their hitters to maintain a record if not afforded the opportunity.

Finally, the outcome of Australia conceding 330 was captain Alyssa Healy being given an opportunity to produce her most recent brilliance.

She reached fifty in 35 pitches - her quickest at the global tournament - and her century in 84 deliveries while she punished short deliveries, scoring 21 fours and three sixes.

By the time she was removed her side required another 66 at run per delivery - an unconquered height now needing a comfortable finish.

"To chase 330 is new territory so I am glad we have the assurance to accomplish that now," stated Healy further.

"Hopefully we don't have to do it again but, if necessary, we are confident we can do it."

Those words will be the ultimate thing Australia's opponents at this tournament want to hear.

During the last week a feeling they will win from any position has grown stronger - this success coming after success over Pakistan by 107 runs despite sitting at 76-7 at one point.

Next Australia play Bangladesh before a meeting with traditional opponents England in Indore in ten days, by which point a semi-final place may likely be confirmed.

It was at that stage they left the prior year's T20 World Cup in an unexpected loss by South Africa - a game Healy missed because of torn tissue in her foot as she captained her nation for the initial instance at an important competition.
